Working this past year (2021) with Matthew and Jessica has been a wonderful experience. As a small business owner myself the stress of IT set up and systems maintenance was more than I wanted to continue to handle after doing so for approximately 10 months as the result of picking up where a prior owner left off. About the time I was quickly approaching my whit's end Matthew Pryde contacted me about possibly taking over our IT function and I agreed to meet with him after a brief phone call.

Our initial meeting was pleasant, I'm a bit loud and Matthew is more the quiet type, but he left me feeling like he knew computers/networks and was highly trustworthy, both of which are of utmost importance when working in the accounting and tax world as I do. When I need someone knowledgeable to fix or upgrade a system and keep data safe, there is no room for error when judging character and competency. I can, without a doubt, confirm that my initial impression of Matthew was correct. He is extremely knowledgeable about his craft, appropriately concerned for data security, and is always quick to respond to support requests. He has treated our need to work extended hours to meet deadlines as if they were his deadlines. He has never been anything but polite and pleasant to work with.

In addition to the routine maintenance of our systems Matthew was instrumental in getting our latest software systems installed and ready for implementation by firm staff. He has consistently and with a sense of urgency updated our software as the need arose and went above and beyond to organize the rewiring of our new office, with us in place, when we moved on relatively short notice last October (2021). He is currently working on new hardware (laptops and monitors) for most of my staff and I have been able to trust that he is handling the purchasing and installation with my initial input and little more.

I intend to have Matthew and Jessica, along with their newest employee, Kyle manage my IT needs for the foreseeable future. I feel I have found just the right fit with this group of people and would recommend them to anyone needing small to mid-size office IT support. I know the future holds good things for PrydeTech and I hope to be around to see them expand their staff and services in the coming years.
